Data source
All study listings come from ClinicalTrials.gov, the public registry maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Each page shows the date the data was processed, and every study page links to its official record.
Refresh schedule
We download recruiting studies with US sites twice a day. If a download looks wrong, for example if the number of studies changes sharply, the update is stopped and the previous data stays live until it is checked.
What we change
- We keep only US sites whose status is recruiting.
- Distances are measured between city centers, because ClinicalTrials.gov gives site locations at the city level. They are approximate.
- Long summaries are shortened at a sentence boundary. Titles, conditions and criteria are not rewritten.
How pages are published
Condition and city pages are published for search engines only when they pass a minimum data threshold: at least five recruiting US studies for a condition, at least ten studies within 25 miles for a city, and at least three studies and five recruiting sites within 50 miles for a condition in a city. Pages that fall below the threshold are marked noindex and removed from our sitemap, and are retired if they stay below it.
No invented facts
Study facts on this site come from ClinicalTrials.gov records. We don't use AI or anyone else to invent study details, outcomes or claims. Where text is condensed, it is condensed from the official record and the study's NCT number is shown alongside it. Our guides are written by hand and cite their sources inline.
Language we avoid
We describe study products as investigational. We don't say a study offers a cure or free treatment, we don't publish testimonials, and we don't put compensation amounts in headlines. When we mention compensation, we say it may be available.
Corrections
If a listing looks wrong, the official record on ClinicalTrials.gov is the authority; study teams update it directly and our pages follow at the next refresh. To report an error on our site, email corrections@eligibility.info. We review reports and fix confirmed errors at the next refresh. More about us is on the about page.
